REMINDER: PLEASE HAVE YELLOW RESIDENT TAGS VISIBLE IN VEHICLE

The restrictions listed below must be followed in order for Ballville Township to better serve you. Ballville Township has the right to refuse any and all recycling materials that are brought to the drop site.

• GLASS
• Must be rinsed clean
• No caps or lids
• No window glass, dishes, cookware, light bulbs, mirrors, ceramic or china of any kind
• PLEASE let workers know of any broken glass in your bags or containers to prevent injury
• ALUMINUM & STEEL CANS
• Must be rinsed clean
• Beverage and food cans only
• Cans should be flattened to save space
• NO tin pans, mailboxes, aluminum foil, can lids, clothes hangers, wire, cooking pans, or steel metal of any kind
• Remove labels
• PLASTICS
• Must be rinsed clean
• Only plastic articles with the #1 or #2 symbol
• Includes soft drink bottles, milk and water jugs, detergent and bleach bottles
• NO lids or caps, plastic toys, buckets, plant trays, bags, styrofoam, or bubble wrap
• PLEASE flatten bottles and jugs if possible
• NO motor oil bottles, anti-freeze jugs, pesticide or herbicide containers
• CARDBOARD
• Will only accept CORRUGATED cardboard
• Break down all boxes
• NO cereal boxes, pop boxes, beer boxes, waxy boxes, or wrapping paper tubes
• NEWSPAPERS
• Will accept inserts that came with newspaper
• NO envelopes, mixed office paper, computer paper, junk mail, white or colored ledger paper, business forms, fax paper, copy paper, shredded paper, kids homework paper, coloring books or coloring paper
• NO magazines of any kind
• TENNIS SHOES
• We accept tennis shoes for Sandusky County Litter Prevention
• Can only accept tennis shoes
• No work boots or cowboy boots.
