Ballville Township will be receiving $300,000.00 from the State Appropriation Budget for the construction of Chudzinski-Johassen Park. Trustees Bob Kusmer and Dave Stotz met with State Representative Bill Reineke in December to discuss the chances to apply for funds for our new park.
Bob Kusmer prepared a proposal discussing the construction and opportunities the park would bring to the community. Thanks to Representative Reineke introducing our proposal into the budget, we were awarded $300,000.00 towards developing the park. Construction on the park will begin this year. The walking paths, wetland pond, and observation bridge will be built during the summer. The roadway and parking lot will also be under construction to open the park for public use.
