Ballville Township under their gas aggregation program has negotiated a fix rate with Archer Energy. The rate of $0.499 per Ccf will be fixed till May of 2026. With energy cost risings every couple of months, we are hoping this can bring some stability to our resident’s bills. This is the only company we have negotiated with.
Archer Energy will be sending an OP-OUT LETTER to every resident who have Columbia Gas. If you do not have Columbia gas you can not be part of the program. You will be required to change back to Columbia gas, then you can apply for the program.
The OP-OUT LETTER you will be receiving in the mail will allow you to be removed from the program and stay with your existing provider. If you do nothing, you will be put into the gas aggregate automatically. These are PUCO rules and not Ballville or Archer Energy’s requirements. You can OP-OUT or OP-IN the program as many times as you like with no additional charges to the program by Archer Energy.
