Ballville Township was just notified by OMNI FIBER that it will be constructing a cable network in the Township during the first half of 2025. Construction could start in February-March with completion of the project in May-June of 2025. This schedule naturally depends on weather conditions during the winter and spring seasons.

The construction will be similar to what you saw in Fremont. The contractors will bury the cable wherever they can use directional boring, but you will see some open cut throughout the township. Some cables may also be hung on poles in some areas. The construction activity for the cable will be primarily in the denser population areas of the township. You will be notified by the contractor with door hangers when construction begins in your neighborhood. Softscape areas will be restored to the best of their ability in winter or wet conditions. Final restoration will be done in the dry spring and summer months of the year.
The residential connections will occur approximately two months after completion of the project. As we receive additional information from Omni Fiber, we will inform the residents by Facebook and on our website, Ballville.org.
