Dave is retired from Local #50, Toledo, Ohio in 2000 and is part owner of Three Star Maintenance. He is serving his fourth term as a Ballville Trustee. A graduate of St. Joseph Central Catholic High School in 1959, Dave is a member of the church and the Athletic Boosters. He is also a member of the Athletic Booster of Fremont Ross High School.
Dave has served on the Sandusky County Regional Planning, Sandusky County Tax Incentive Management Committee and Sandusky County Township Trustees (past president.) Dave also belongs to the Elks Lodge #169, Knights of Columbus #591, and Local Order of Moose #1286. Dave is married to Jane and has four children Tom, Amy Forgatsch, Jennifer Huntley, Matt and one step child Heather Chase. He has eight grand children and one step grandchild.
Bob is serving his second term as Trustee. He is a life long resident of the Fremont area and has lived in Ballville for 39 years. As Trustee, Bob is serving as the Chief Executive Office for the Ohio Public Works Commission Capital Improvement Program for the Joint Township Association. Bob also represents the Township on the Tax Incentive Management Committee, The Ballville Dam Removal Committee, Emergency Management Committee and the County/City Sanitary Sewer District Committee.
Bob is retired after serving as the owner Kusmer & Associates, Inc an Architectural, Engineering and Surveying firm in Fremont for 33 years. He has been active over the past thirty years serving on many committees in the community. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Bob and his wife Betty have two children Kyle, wife Kristen, and Jodi, husband Matt Moss, and four grandchildren.
Dr. Richard Geyer
Dr. Geyer was elected to Trustee and took office in January 2012. He is a life-long resident of Ballville Township. Dr. Geyer is an adjunct faculty member for Liberty University, Grand Canyon University, and Southwest Baptist University. He earned his baccalaureate from Ohio University, MBA from Tiffin University, and Doctorate in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Geyer and his wife, Jennifer, have two children. His previous employment includes the Sandusky County Department of Human Services, Sandusky County Health Department (14 years), Director of W.S.O.S. Senior Programs & TRIPS, Tiffin University and Mt. Vernon Nazarene University.
He is a member of Grace Community Church where he serves as an usher/greeter and leader of Single Purpose Bible Study for single adults. He has volunteered as a basketball coach for Special Olympics (10 yrs.) and other community youth sports. He has served on the Ballville Township Board of Zoning Appeals, Advisory Board for Easter Seal Society of Sandusky County, Kids In Crisis Village House Board, Ohio Public Health Association Governing Council, Mental Retardation & Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board, Board of Ohio Safe Kids Coalition, N.W. Ohio Traffic Safety Consortium, and founded the Sandusky County Organized Teens, Inc. and Sandusky County SAFE Kids Coalition.
