On Tuesday May 6, 2025, Ohioans will be voting on issue 2.  This is a program ministered through the Ohio Public Works Commission to provide grant money for infrastructure improvements for townships, counties and cities.  This program will provide $250 million per year for the next ten years.  The program has to be voted on by the residents in the State of Ohio every ten years.  We have passed the program the last three time and it has been in existence for nearly 40 years.

Ballville Township have benefited from the program since 2011.  We have submitted an application every other year and have received $412,928.00 for road paving.  The grants have given us enough funding to pave 6 miles of roads during this time.

Ballville Township also acts as the lead township helping other townships in the county to obtain this grant. To date we have received over $2,282,255.00 for all participating townships equaling 30 miles of paved roads paid for by this program.

We are urging you to vote yes to continue the program which benefits all of us.  There are  NO new taxes associated with the program. PLEASE VOTE YES so we can continue to fund our road paving program.
